Google announced the XE7 software update last week, but the public post about it focused on the device’s first web browser and several new “OK Glass” voice commands. The detailed release notes, however, also mention improvements to local search and voice search.

Voice search: On the voice side, Glass now functions more like the recently announced conversational search on Chrome. Glass owners can use pronouns like “it” when referring to a recent search subject, as shown in this example.

Local search: There’s also a change in how local places are presented in Google Now cards on Google Glass. When there’s more than one place to be shown, Glass now shows a single “bundle” card that users can click on to discover all of the recommended places.

When I first started using Glass, each place recommended by Google Now would show up as a separate card, which sometimes required a lot of scrolling to get through.
