TIME Magazine has named Mark Zuckerberg Person of the Year.

Zuckerberg is the founder of Facebook, arguably one of Google’s biggest threats in 2011. Facebook has made a search deal with Microsoft Bing this year, which we expect to be expanded in the future. There has been a lot of controversy between Google and Facebook.

TIME Magazine said Zuckerberg was given this honor “for connecting more than half a billion people and mapping the social relations among them; for creating a new system of exchanging information; and for changing how we all live our lives, Mark Elliot Zuckerberg is TIME’s 2010 Person of the Year.”
