- Google Updates Link Scheme Webmaster Guidelines from us. I reported that Google placed the word “excessive” in their “link schemes” guidelines page.

I recently bought a site with a lot of bad links to it. I was wondering how I can make sure these links will be removed? Should I write emails to all the individual webmasters to kindly remove the spammy link?
