Pole Positioning Marketing has compiled yet another link building advice article. This one is very good — it asks 12 link building experts to provide a link building tip that you might not find elsewhere.

The advice comes in both short and long form from Patrick Altoft, Hamlet Batista, Jim Boykin, Rand Fishkin, Peter van der Graaf, Bob Gladstein, Michael Gray, Debra Mastaler, Maurizio Petrone, Peter da Vanzo, and Eric Ward.

Here is a quick overview of some of the responses:

• Cloak links for Google vs. Yahoo vs MSN (I am not sure if I would recommend that)
• Tips on using other metrics, outside PageRank, to find quality links
• Get links that get clicks
• When searching for links, add “sponsor” and/or “charity” to your link searches
• Create linkable sites and redirect them
• Leave comments at blogs that spotlight top comments
• Use image hotlinks
• Use Google Alerts as an aid
