Good for Rand! I read a lot of his stuff and hope this gives more time for a less stressful, more balanced life outside of his work with Moz. Not sure if I am a fan of Rand NOT being the face of Moz though…because…well…he is! In a way Moz=Rand, Rand=Moz and I know myself and many others are big Moz fans mainly because we are big fans of Rand, his ideas, his thought leadership, his honesty and transparency…we TRUST him to lead us through the ever-changing world of inbound marketing/SEO and, therefore, trust Moz…

Rand is great! Whiteboard Fridays were always awesome and hope to learn more from him in the future, which I’m sure we will. And not just SEO but marketing in general, he knows whats up! Not everyone agreed with him all the time, but he’s a great evangelist for our industry overall and he has contributed more than most. Happy 2014 Rand! Thanks for all the fish! :D

A few good SEO people stepping down lately. Jill Whalen, to a lesser extent, stepped down recently as well.

Rand led the company to its highest level. Hopefully, Sarah keeps the momentum ticking.
