Rumor: Google & Salesforce.com To Join Forces Against Microsoft

Google, Salesforce.com Weigh Alliance to Battle Microsoft from the Wall Street Journal reports that the two companies are rumored to be in discussions about working together to compete against Microsoft.

By teaming up with Salesforce.com, the Wall Street Journal says teh two can compete with Microsoft’s customer relationship management (CRM) software. Google already offers email, IM, documents, spreadsheets, and rumored to do a lot more such as presentations.

We know Google and Salesforce.com have teamed up before, to enable Salesforce.com users to easily set up Google AdWords campaigns.

Please be true! Google is making my life a lot easier with so many cool apps flying out all the time that mixing it up with Salesforce would be a massive plus for me.

Having used Salesforce in the past the only thing that frightens me is the cost as I am a SEO, marketing person for smaller businesses….
