Search Engine Land Correspondents Named

I said earlier that I, Chris Sherman and Barry Schwartz would be writing here on Search Engine Land when it formally launches on December 11. I’m happy to now add that we’ll be working with correspondents: Phil Bradley, Bill Slawski, Jennifer Slegg, Brian Smith, and Greg Sterling. We’re glad to have them aboard! They’ll be joining us from our launch date and contributing items in their areas of coverage, which are:

  • Phil Bradley: Phil will cover ways of searching the web, new search engines and searching tools and resources, from the viewpoint of searchers, researchers and others who use these services. Phil also has his own blog that focuses on searching and other research issues.

  • Bill Slawski: Bill will cover items about search patents, search algorithms research and search acquisitions. Bill also has his own SEO By The Sea blog that goes into more depth on some of these issues.

  • Jennifer Slegg: Jennifer will cover items about search advertising and also contextual ads, where they crossover in interest to the search marketing space. Jennifer also has her own JenSense blog that provides deep coverage of contextual advertising.

  • Brian Smith: Brian will cover items about shopping search and vertical search generally. Brian also has his own ComparisonEngines.com blog and runs the LoveYourFeed.com service.

  • Greg Sterling: Greg will cover items about local and mobile search. Greg also has his own blog at Screenwerk.

Danny Sullivan is editor-in-chief of Search Engine Land. He’s a widely cited authority on search engines and search marketing issues who has covered the space since 1996. Danny also oversees Search Engine Land’s SMX: Search Marketing Expo conference series. He maintains a personal blog called Daggle, can be found on Facebook, Google Buzz and microblogs on Twitter as @dannysullivan.
