		<description>Congratulations to Danny &amp; Co. on such a strong showing for their first few months.

The most interesting part of this post, for me, was your traffic graphs. I have wondered over the last couple of months how many people are coming to Search Engine Land. There seems to be a real scarcity of comments...and this is not what I would have expected, due to the extraordinary caliber of the authors and information here. Why is it, I wonder, that so few people are leaving comments?

Perhaps, like me, they are a little shy of asking you fellows (the experts) silly-seeming questions about concepts which are, perhaps, too basic to be appropriate for such a sterling environment.

For me, coming to Search Engine Land each day is like getting to look out of a newly-polished, crystal-clear window. Everything is so precise, beautifully presented, clean. The professional tone of this site is truly refreshing, and I just love being here. Thanks to all of you folks for making it this way, and congratulations on your first few months!

searchengineland.com has 57,000 backlinks (you reported yesterday) and I see 60 .edu backlinks as well...is it really getting trusted backlinks or time....I say time more... you&#039;ve already got the trusted backlinks.

		<description>Great recap Danny! Like the breakdown on the Digg stuff too.

This also gave me a chuckle:
&quot;&lt;i&gt;So for me, Digg traffic is a nice surprise, the frosting on the cake -- but I&#039;m baking a cake with many traffic source ingredients. I&#039;m successful if the overall line between the spikes continues to rise.&lt;/i&gt;&quot;

Do you have a cookbook to follow? :)
