WOW! Excellent article – very interesting read.

Long, but just what I wanted on this Friday afternoon.

Love the insights and ideas the Dream Team brought out.

I’m willing to bet that a number of the people influencing search in 2010 will not have been included in this list!

Dave, undoubtedly you’re right, but I had to call it quits after 8 interviews. But then, that’s what comment posts are for!

    Hi Gord!

To be clear, it was in no way meant as a criticism of the article, it’s just a fact of the marketplace. Successful new ideas are most likely to come from people that aren’t subjected to limitiing beliefs. A Part 2 from smaller rising players would be an interesting read though!

I wonder about the wisdom of Google’s preference towards older sites. It makes it so hard to break through them and they have such a huge advantage. I only own one site, but I think that the age thing is just extremely hard to break through regardless of your content. On the other hand, in the case of the political forum field, some of the older sites have more members. On the other hand, while I would say that my site does not have as much members as others, I think it’s quality is the best.

The point is: how can you get quality sites higher ranked?
