Search Marketing Now will offer webcasts and webinars, with our first webcast being How to Find The Right Search Marketing Partner on December 19 at 1pm Eastern. It’s free to take part in this online seminar conducted by Chris Sherman. More details and registration information are available at the SMN web site.

Search Marketing Expo — SMX as we’re also calling it — will have its first event in Seattle on June 4 & 5th 2007at the Bell Harbor Conference center. I’m especially aiming the inaugural event toward the intermediate to advanced search marketer.

Thanks to Chris Pirillo for the suggestion of the great venue for the show. It’s where Gnomedex will also be held next year. Thanks also to Mike Grehan for giving us a great domain name that he owned for use in the series. Let me tell you, coming up with names (and associated domain names) for search marketing-related activities is pretty tough — a topic I’ll explore more in a future post.

I’ll have more to say about both sites in more detail in the near future, when I get back from my current trip.
