Searcharazzi: Forget the GPhone, we want the new GCar

Searcharazzi - A Column From Search Engine Land

Or at least Google license plates. You might remember the English bloke who tried to sell some plates for tens of thousands in 2005. Well, this Swedish guy has most certainly one-upped anyone else out there with his brand spanking new Google license plates on what looks like a brand spanking new BMW. Now if we just read Swedish, we’d understand what his blog said about the process.

Now back to the GPhone…

Tongues are wagging after the Wall Street Journal once again suggested that Google is indeed developing a wireless device. Searcharazzi secretly hopes that Rupert Murdoch’s acquisition just might lead to a juicier, Page Six approach to all things tech.

What might this column cover? Well, it’s always good to know that Larry Page has picked up a Zero X electric dirtbike and that Sergey’s wife has been profiled in the “Wives of Billionaires” Forbes Column right next to, you guessed it, Rupert Murdoch’s own spouse, Wendi Deng. To wrap up the name dropping, this Asianweek gossip column reveals that Yahoo! CEO Jerry Wang and his wife, Akiko Yamazaki, were partying with power couple Letitia and Michael Kim at the Asian Art Museum’s Tezuka Osamu exhibit.
