In this week’s Search In Pictures, here are the latest images culled from the web, showing what people eat at the search engine companies, how they play, who they meet, where they speak, what toys they have, and more. - Google To Monetize Friend Connect?
Michael Arrington said he has confirmed reports that Google employees call Google Friend Connect, “Friendsense.” Friend Connect is Google’s social widget that site owners can add to their site to help bridge other Google account users together. Google launched it early this year and then made it widely available to anyone to add to their web sites. Arrington suspects that Google will soon monetize Friend Connect “as a shoehorn to insert advertising onto third party websites.” I would not argue with that. - Christmas Logos From Google & Others
