Thanks For Taking Our Survey; And The SMX Ticket Winner Is…

A big “thank you” to all 375 of you who completed our Search Engine Land audience survey. We won’t ask again for another year. Promise.

You’re a very impressive group in terms of seniority and buying power. Here are a couple of the survey results:

  • a third of you said you have been in SEM for more than 5 years
  • 37% of you work in SEM for a company and 32% work for an SEM or full service agency
  • you are hands-on: 66% of you said you conduct search marketing campaigns, while 23% said you manage people who conduct campaigns
  • 20% of you are responsible for spending $2 million or more annually on PPC and internet media for your company or clients

We’ve posted the full survey to our Advertising Info page if you’d like to know more or get in touch with us about placing advertising.

And the Winner is….

The grand (and only) prize was a chance to win a ticket to our Search Marketing Expo – SMX Advanced conference in Seattle next month. David Lux from TK Carsites in Orange, CA, is the lucky winner. David told us he’s never been to SMX and he’s looking forward to attending.

Sorry to all of you who completed the survey and didn’t win. If you still want to go, register now to take advantage of the Early Bird rate, which expires May 9.
