Truly local news is really hard to find, especially if you live in a major metro area. I worked for a number of years in the online newspaper business and know that the major dailies have big holes to fill in their coverage. It's great to see Topix making this move. I moved here from SF 2 years ago and have just found the nearest Best Buy.... I'm a little unsure how this is going to pan out but it surely must be good....
