Wolfram Alpha, the much anticipated fact engine, is now live. That means, you can go to wolframalpha.com and test it out for yourself.
Keep in mind, Wolfram Alpha is not a Google competitor, it is a beast of its own. Do comment and let us know your thoughts.
For more about this new search engine, see Danny’s write up named Impressive: The Wolfram Alpha “Fact Engine”.
Update: Seems like Wolfram Alpha is having major issues. So they may have taken it back offline.
Postscript 2: Wolfram contacted us to let us know this was just a test. A Wolfram rep said, “what people saw yesterday was just a little flicker test, done in the middle of the our load testing.”
