The Yahoo Search Blog announced that they are currently rolling out a web search update.
Priyank Garg’s “weather report” said:
We’ve been rolling out some changes to our fresh web data and crawling, indexing and ranking algorithms over the last few days. We expect the update will be completed by the weekend.
You may see changes in the Yahoo Search results over the next couple days.

I look forward to analyzing this but I don’t expect the changes to be significant. After all, what can Yahoo do to dramatically improve its search algorithm? It takes years and months to keep up with the market developments…
