A bit quick on the post button. Forgot to mention that Traffic.com offers customized (for your specific route(s)) RSS feeds. They also offer metro area feeds. Finally, personalized traffic reports can be delivered via SMS, web site, or even the phone (as in spoken). Traffic.com also offers a new mobile site.
http://mobi.traffic.com

Also, traffic alerts (SMS, email) from MS Auto are extremely localized.
http://autos.msn.com/partners/sponsorpage.aspx?page=traffic

Since the pipes at Yahoo remain 'clogged' at this hour, it's hard to tell how related or unrelated the service is to xFruits. That's not that important.

xFruits is cool and very easy for the non-geek to use.

http://www.xfruits.com

This service offers a set of modules (aka "bricks")that allow you to do various things with RSS and OPML.

For example, RSS to Mobile, RSS to email, RSS to PDF, OPML to Mobile, and others.

The site is available in English, French, Spanish, Chinese and Japanese.
