Yahoo Search Improves Movie Shortcut Results

The Yahoo Search Blog announced they have improved their movie shortcuts to add more information. The added information includes, movie trailers, user and critic ratings, a brief summary, and movie showtimes. For example, a search on Dreamgirls, 10025 brings up this Yahoo Shortcut.

Of course other search engines offer similar results.

Older screenshot shows a bug, but it is now fixed. The bug did not show the local show times based on the zip code…

Hi Barry - I’d like to share what you’ll get on AOL Search with FullView if you search for Dreamgirls - check out the FullView results on the right hand side of the page. It has movie details, videos, news and images.
For movie searches on AOL Search, you’ll very likely get FullView results with details and video clips, like Babel and Little Miss Sunshine.
