Yahoo news to tilt to a lilt from Reuters reports that Yahoo is going to be launching a news show by the end of this quarter named “Odd News Underground.” The spin to this news show is that the anchor will be singing the news that “will leave you tapping your feet,” said Yahoo’s Scott Moore.

Combining news with music was tried last year (for just a few weeks) at Reuters Labs with a service called Newsbeats. No singing, just new age and electronic music combined with someone reading the latest news.
