YouTube To Hold Online Awards Show

YouTube to Sponsor Video Awards Show from the Associated press reports that YouTube will be holding the first YouTube Video Awards.

The YouTube Video Awards should be available at http://www.youtube.com/YTAwards (now live), and users in the YouTube community will be able to vote for their favorite videos.

There will be several categories where one video can be nominated including most creative, most inspirational, best series, best comedy, musician of the year, best commentary and ‘most adorable video ever.’

Voting supposedly begins today, Monday and concludes on Friday. The winners will be announced on March 25 and will receive a trophy and recognition on the YouTube home page.
