Good morning, Marketers, Pinterest popped up out of nowhere.

The visual discovery platform for creators, designers and obsessive scrollers surprised us last week by announcing new ad features. Idea ads and paid partnership tools are supposed to make collaborating with large brands a reality for creators. Is anyone else getting a whiff of Instagram Branded Content Ads? 

Pinterest has seen early success testing these with popular influencers and multi-million dollar household brands like Gatorade. But brands that already have such large budgets and followings hardly make us sit up and pay attention. Check out the article and judge for yourself.
