Google is reducing its ads sales team by 1,000 employees.
A spokesperson told Search Engine Land that the decision was made to enable Google to “provide the best service to Ads customers.”
Advertisers have described Google Ads support as being at an “all-time low” and have called on the platform for more help. So news of a major staff reduction probably isn’t the news they – or you – were hoping for.
