Seen some abnormal activity in your Bing Ads account lately? Instead of having to get out your detective’s cap, corn-cob pipe, magnifying glass and sleuthing through handfuls of reports, Bing’s new Top Movers Report may offer a faster solution. Launched today, the Top Movers report was created to quickly identify account changes while also providing potential culprits for the action.

The report allows for advertisers to view campaign top movers by performance change size during an inputted time frame. Other descriptions that can be included are:

  • Top Increases
  • Top Decreases
  • Other Changes – changes for campaigns & ad groups that may not be as significant
  • Details Table – a list of “top movers” on the overall account performance

The fantastic feature for advertisers isn’t just the largest movements that occur, but the detail that’s included. This report has possible cause identification that not only shows the campaign that had the most movement, but also a list of possible causes for each:

Top-Movers-Cause

The possible causes can include account data, search traffic data, or competitor data and should be a boon for advertisers. This report is well thought out and will be a welcomed addition as Bing Reports aren’t known for their ease of use.
