Google has announced the second annual Doodle 4 Google competition. This year the contest is to design a Google Doodle that symbolizes the theme of “What I Wish for the World.”
To enter this contest you need to make sure your school is registered with Google and your teachers can submit your Doodle for you. Registration closes at 11:59:59 PM Pacific time on March 17, 2009, plus all Doodles need to be submitted by March 31, 2009. The finalist can win prizes such as their Doodle on the Google homepage for a day, a college scholarship, and a technology grant for your school, plus all 40 finalists will have their Doodle exhibited at a Smithsonian museum. Last year’s competition was announced in February 2008 and the winners were announced on May 22nd.
