Today, on 86 different local versions of the Google home page, including Google.com USA, Google has posted a logo to honor International Women’s Day.
The logo is made up of all different kinds of female faces, not specifically famous people, just all the different shapes and colors of women. In classic Google Doodle fashion, it makes the shape and form of the Google letters throughout the logo.
The logo was designed by Doodler Betsy Bauer, who illustrated the logo from the ground up. She explained:
The idea for the final illustration came to me while I was doing one of my favorite things — sketching in a coffee shop. When drawing from life, you really observe how each human face is unique. People come in all shapes and sizes!
