Google tests clickable phone numbers in organic search results

Google is now experimenting with click to call on the organic side. They've done this with ads and local before.

Google is testing displaying clickable phone numbers in the organic search results on mobile.

We’ve seen click to call on the AdWords side for years, but never on the organic side, in the 10 blue links. This was first spotted by @ryschill. Here is a picture he shared:

Google has allowed searchers to click on phone numbers to dial the business from the ad side and the local listings side, but we’ve never seen it on the organic side.

Google is always experimenting, and this is one of those experiments.
