Google has confirmed that it has search systems that are designed to see if “a section of a site is independent or starkly different from the main content of the site.” This was what Google told Glenn Gabe, an independent SEO consultant, after he documented a number of large sites that had noticed sections of their sites see huge declines in their Google Search visibility.
Google also again confirmed they are not testing the site reputation abuse algorithm. It is still only run manually.
