Good morning, Marketers, Google has ruffled feathers in the PPC community again.

Google Ads has launched three new professional certifications on Skillshop – and marketers aren’t happy. Not only do they have to pay for the certificates, but there’s some pretty strict (and slightly odd) criteria to take the exams. For example: 

  • You can’t wear a hat.
  • You must record a video of your test-taking environment.
  • You can’t take restroom breaks.

Select partners can take the tests for free until Dec. 31, but after that, everyone has to pay.
