Good morning, Marketers, Google has launched several search features. Here’s what’s new.

  • Google told us its hidden gems system has been live for the past few months. Google has been surfacing content deeper inside forums, blog posts, social media, and other webpages and will continue those efforts going forward.
  • Also, Google’s Search results are now more personalized, using previous search history to show you sites you visit often, plus a new follow button to customize your Discover feed and New for you in the Google search results and new perspectives features that highlight content creators.
  • Google also rolled out a new Search Labs feature that lets you add notes to search results and view other searcher’s notes. It has its own ranking system and does not impact the core ranking of webpages.
