Google is going to start automatically pausing ad groups with low activity. Starting March 11, ad groups created at least 13 months ago that haven’t had impressions in the past 13 months will be deactivated.
You’ll have the option to turn these ad groups back on, but if they fail to get impressions for the following three months, Google will simply pause them again.
While this adjustment won’t impact your campaign’s performance, it’s still a win for advertisers as it enhances budget efficiency.
