Google Search is dropping continuous scroll. Google will reintroduce its classic pagination bar on desktop, where you click the Next button to navigate to Page 2 and beyond.
Google said this change will allow them to “serve the search results faster on more searches, instead of automatically loading results that users haven’t explicitly requested.”
Continuous scroll was added to Google’s desktop interface in December 2022 and mobile in October 2021. Google will also remove the continuous scroll search feature from mobile in the coming months.
