We have lots of data about popular songs – song titles, lyrics, lengths, etc. But analyzing and imitating what made hundreds of other songs successful won’t make it any easier for you to write a popular song that brings endless riches and fame.
Likewise, we also have a lot of data about popular websites that rank well on Google. But if you do everything that should correlate with SEO success, well, it won’t always work. Or, put another way in a song I was listening to as I wrote this, “You will be a face in the crowd, but you’ll never be a leader.”
Always remember that great SEO or content, like great music, requires more than just the mechanical “checklist” elements. It still requires having something special that resonates with people – whether it’s your unique human insights, ideas, deep experience or passions.
