Woman found canoeist photo via Google from the Guardian Unlimited covers how the wife of a man believed to be dead found her story fall apart after a picture of the two of them together recently was found through the help of a Google Images search.
John Darwin was declared dead in 2003, after he failed to return from from a canoeing trip in March 2002. But he turned up recently back in Britain, causing his wife to express amazement at his return.
However, someone interested in the story did a search for John, Anne, and Panama, finding a picture of Darwin and his wife Anne together in Panama last year, as shown above (they are the first couple listed, on the left).
