Twitter Quietly Adds Search For Timelines & Lists

Twitter continues to expand its collection of search filters with the recent addition of search for Timelines and Lists.

I’m not aware of any announcement about this, but it’s showing up as a search filter on Twitter.com and in the official Twitter apps (both iOS and Android).

The option in the left-side navigation says “Timelines,” and then once you’ve selected that search filter, there’s a secondary option above the search results to switch between Timelines and Lists.

For users, the new filters offer a way to find curated content sources from other Twitter users.

In late January, Twitter added search filters for videos, news, tweets from people you follow and more. And earlier this month, the advanced search page on Twitter.com was updated with an easier-to-use date range search.
