google-news-logoGoogle News has rolled out three updates, giving users quick access to sports scores and weather forecast from the News homepage, while adding Editors’ Picks content to the Business and Technology sections.

The newly added ‘Sports Scores’ content highlights recent sporting event scores on the homepage, and can be customized by sport. For now, this feature is launching in the US covering basketball, football, baseball and hockey; but, Google says more countries and sports will be rolled out over time.

From the ‘Sports Scores’ section, users can click the score to access more details on the event or teams. If preferred, users can remove the new ‘Sports Scores’ from the homepage.
