Google Now Issues Hotel Price Drop Alerts — But Only For Googlers

Google Now is testing a feature to notify users when their hotel reservation price drops. Currently it is only an internal test for Googlers.

Has your hotel room price dropped since you originally booked it? Google Now knows and lets you know, but at the moment, only if you’re a Googler.

Brian White from Google shared on Google+, which is no longer available, that he booked a reservation with a hotel and then noticed in his stack of Google Now cards that Google was telling him there was a price drop on that reservation.

Here is a screen shot of the Google Now card Brian posted:

So will non-Googlers get this notification? Google says it’s very much an internal experiment with no current plans to launch in that format.
