Google Redesigns Google Profiles

Google announced they have revamped the design for Google Profiles.

Google said the new profile design is “even easier for you to control and enrich your public profile.” Here are before and after pictures of my profile:

As you can see, the profiles do look slicker and more “social,” as you would expect from a Facebook or Twitter design.

    I note that the microformats implementation on the new profiles seems to be a little more robust and update a lot more quickly. Now if only they would 301 redirect all of the old profile URLs to the new ones. :)
