Bing has announced they are now displaying Twitter results for a few thousand “prominent and prolific” Twitterers in their search results. The Twitter results show the person’s latest Tweets and a link to “see more tweets” from that user.
For example, if you search for [Danny Sullivan Twitter] or [Danny Sullivan Tweets or [@dannysullivan] in Bing, you will see Danny’s twitter information.
It is important to note that Bing does not have a special deal with Twitter. All this data is coming from the Twitter API.
In other Bing news, they are running a contest to feature your photo on the Bing home page. For more information about that contest, see the blog post.
Note that if you don’t yet see the integration, you should in a few hours, Bing says, as it rolls out across the service.
