This series of “content development ideas” serves just one purpose: as a demonstration of precisely what content development should NOT be all about. Congratulations: three whole articles of stating the frickin obvious. Surely as “the professionals” we should be setting the standards of practical, valuable content and not just recycling the same old spraff just to get more bylines and links for article authors and sponsors (poor show Brafton – you should know better)

User generated content, particularly reviews are truly helpful, but replicating Amazon’s model is easier said than done. Overall a great article on content development. Appreciate your insights. Thanks.

Great article.  Don’t forget product data sheets and whitepapers!

Really great tips, we also have a White Paper on content marketing titled “The Social Media Way of Life for B2B Experts and Content Marketers” which includes a lot of ideas for content creation and gives a lot of examples for great content.

You can find it here: https://exploreb2b.com/en/content-marketing-whitepaper

We’ve used some of your content development ideas but some we didn’t think off. Thank you for posting this information. I need to share this with my writers and editors.
