Google Offering Online Site Reviews This Monday, November 18th

google-seo-featuredGoogle’s John Mueller announced that on this Monday’s Google office-hours, Google will be offering “short website reviews” for webmasters who are looking for advice.

To participate, you must add your website to this Google Moderator page. Then, if Google has time and wants to review your site, Google will review it live, this Monday, November 18th at 10am EDT via Google+ Hangouts.

If you want to be live on the hangout yourself, you can add the event to your calendar and then wait for Google to launch the Google+ Hangout on air.

The site reviews will last one-hour and seems like it will be lead by John Mueller. I am not sure if John will have other Googlers helping him with the site reviews or not.

John explained:

For this hangout, we’ll review sites that are submitted via the moderator page and give a short comment on where you might want to focus your efforts, assuming there are any issues from Google’s point of view.  :)

This could be a huge boon for site owners that are struggling with manual or algorithmic penalties, provided Google gives them real, solid advice to move forward with. Having the opportunity to talk with a real human at Google about your site is such a prize that I can only begin to imagine how many thousands of submissions they will get.

What’s the betting that they will advise using Adwords or some other paid service somewhere within the review

Yea, 1 hour session and already hundreds (if not thousands) of sites submitted…. I wonder if people who used black hat techniques are majority of them? “Oh Google, I have been buying links on sites like http://www.linkfarm.com and since last update I’ve lost 90% of my organic traffic, please help!!! Everything else is stelar”

Most probably its (openly review) their a scheduled appraisal following their new policy. No doubt, its a biggest opportunity but perhaps narrowest possibility to get hooked. I having trouble with analytics that not working out yet due to unknown cause. However, appreciate this happy news, hope to be continued this diagnostic/clinical support in future also.

I was real interested in this but saw it too late. The page says, “No longer accepting new questions or votes at this time.” :( Really nice of Google to offer.

My question would have been related to our competition out ranking us. They have hundreds of thousands of back links (fake), compared to our hundreds, and all the content on their site appears on many other similar industry sites, verbatim (copied). Makes me sick. We try to do it all right and don’t rank. Others play dirty tricks and still winning.

No luck, got following msg today “”No longer accepting new questions or votes at this time.”"
