    Hear, hear!

    Indeed, too many ‘managers’ know a great deal about their business and automatically think themselves the best writers for their (web-)copy. Although they are valuable sources, they should also know that copywriting, be it for web or print, is a craft (I wouldn’t go so far as to consider it an art, although it sometimes almost looks like it is – but only rarely). Typing is one thing, writing is something else, entirely.

    Thank you for spelling it out – let’s hope (for the sake of us, humble copywriters) that the advice you give in this article will actually lead people to realize that hiring a professional is simply common sense.
