Google Operating Systems spotted Google testing large Google Checkout buttons underneath AdWords ads that are from merchants that accept Google Checkout. Here is a comparison image:
This begs the question, is Google going to far with giving Google Checkout merchants an unfair advantage or not? More discussion at Google Pushing Google Checkout More and New Google Checkout Promo; New Google Trust Worries.

I did a double take when I saw those ads in the RSS feed. They are mine! ;-)
Thanks for the info. We were unaware Google was testing those options and now we know they were in fact tested on our ads.
I made a comment about this in the other post, this all kind of makes me quesy as to see the direction of where Google is going with this.

Those buttons look awfully simlar to the buttons on a BT Intranet site I worked on years ago.
