Google is celebrating the life of Marie Curie with a special Google logo, aka a Doodle. The logo depicts her working at her desk on with test tubes and beakers.
Marie Curie is best known for her work in radioactivity, being awarded with two Nobel Prizes, in physics and chemistry. In fact, she is the only one to win two nobel prizes in two different sciences.
Marie Curie was born today, 144 years ago on November 7, 1867. She was born in Warsaw, Kingdom of Poland and died at the age of 66 on July 4, 1934 in France.
