Facebook Now Lets You Search Your Posts & Status Updates In Graph Search

facebook-graph-search-200Facebook announced the launch of searching your posts and status updates within graph search.

Facebook said, “Today, Graph Search will include posts and status updates.” With this, you “will be able to search for status updates, photo captions, check-ins and comments to find things shared with you.”

I personally tried this, and it is not active for me yet:

But when it does become available, you can search for topics like [Posts about Dancing with the Stars by my friends] and you’d see this:

Other search commands that let you search Facebook posts and status updates include:

  • Posts by my friends from last month
  • Posts written at The White House
  • Posts I commented on
  • My posts from last year

For more on this feature, see the help center at Facebook.

Post search is not yet supported. Also, I am seeing a different UI of Facebook, not seen before.

Same thing here I just do not see my friends posts also.It looks like it will take some time for them to update it for all regions.
May be its only for USA for now now and later for other regions.

Post search still not implemented (for my account at least). It’s hard to understand why Facebook and other internet companies announce features before they are rolled out, then people forget or loose interest by the time they have access. If you are a marketer, That said, I do think the new Facebook Graph Search will have broad/deep implications once fully implemented.
