Bing veteran's day homepage

To honor all veterans, Bing is featuring The Tower of London on its homepage today.

Bing acknowledged not only is today Veteran’s Day, but also marks Remembrance Day in the UK.

[blockquote]On both sides of the ocean, the intention is the same: To honor those who’ve served, whether in combat or in peace.[/blockquote]

Dating back to the eleventh century, The Tower of London is a historic English castle that is currently home to The Tower of London Remembers project, an installation of nearly one-million ceramic poppies to mark the hundred year anniversary of Britain entering World War I.

Along with featuring The Tower of London, Bing is honoring U.S. veterans by helping them find a free meal.

Search Bing for “Veterans Day free meals” and you’ll see the following list of restaurants offering free meals to veterans today.
