Google shows its support for Gay Pride Month with rainbow art for LGBT search terms
Searches for terms like "gay pride month," "gay rights" and "LGBT" will return results with a rainbow ribbon strung across the top of the page.
Google is standing strong with its support of gay rights this month by displaying a rainbow ribbon for LGBT-related searches to mark Gay Pride Month.
The Gay Pride inspired artwork shows up across the top of the search results page for a number of LGBT terms, including:
- gay pride month
- gay rights
- LGBT
- same sex marriage
Google has featured rainbow-colored artwork for LGBT-related searches during Gay Pride Month for several years now.
This year, Google’s support is being shown via a rainbow-colored ribbon strung across the top of the search results page (the Google logo in the upper left-hand corner is not associated with Gay Pride Month, but today’s Google Doodle honoring Lotte Reiniger):
