This is the first time the company has updated the policy this year, following an update in December of 2013. There were only two updates last year, one occurring on June 24 and the other on December 20.
Google posted a “Comparison” page to outline the most recent Privacy Policy updates, along with an archive of updates dating back to June 9, 1999.
“As you use our services, we want you to be clear how we’re using information and the ways in which you can protect your privacy,” claimed Google on the page listing its new Privacy Policy.
