With mobile searches growing by leaps and bounds, Google has introduced an option on its keyword tool that lets marketers find keyword suggestions for mobile devices.
The company says mobile searches on Google climbed 130% year-over-year in the third quarter of 2010, and search queries have grown more than five times over the past two years.
In the keyword tool’s “advanced options,” AdWords advertisers can find suggestions for WAP search terms, those likely to be used by full mobile browsers like on iPhones or Android OS phones, or all mobile searches.
The company says users of smartphones running Android search twice as much on Google as other mobile users.
