The awards include 22 different categories, along with a Grand Prix prize which will be awarded to the best entry among the 22 categories. The deadline for entries is July 19, with the shortlist of winners to be announced Friday, September 6, 2013.
Entries will be judged by a panel of 15 search industry experts, including Mel Carson of Delightful Communications, Bruce Clay of Bruce Clay Inc., UseTheData.com publisher Bryan Eisenberg, Moz CEO Rand Fishkin and Julie Joyce of Link Fish Media.
According to USSearchAwards.com, “The US Search Awards follow the success of the UK Search Awards and the European Search Awards which were launched by British events agency Don’t Panic in 2011 and 2012.”
In association with Pubcon Las Vegas and joint headline sponsors Manual Link Building and Majestic SEO, the US Search Awards ceremony is scheduled for October 23 at Treasure Island in Las Vegas, Nevada. Tickets for the event will be available once the shortlist is announced.
