Mario Fischer

Mario Fischer studied economics, specializing in business informatics and communication science. He then founded a consulting and software company. At the same time, he completed an external doctorate at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. In 1998, he was appointed professor of business informatics at the Technical University of Wuerzburg-Schweinfurt, where he teaches and conducts research in the field of e-commerce. 

He is a well-known and renowned SEO and online marketing expert. He is a frequent speaker at many relevant conferences and has therefore been responsible for over 500 presentations, conference contributions, seminars, workshops and publications in the field of search engine marketing and usability. He is the author of the book “Website Boosting”, which has been published 2006 in several languages and, with well over 40,000 hardcopies sold, it tops the relevant bestseller lists on Amazon for years. Mario Fischer is a member of numerous e-commerce-oriented committees and panels, but is also a sought-after consultant for companies of all sizes and in all industries. Since 2010, Fischer has been the publisher and editor-in-chief of the printed magazine Website Boosting.
